So i applied the product with no issues at all Washed my brand new car Clay bared it Then pre treatment While pretreatment was still wet , I applied ceramic coating Let sit for 8 min due to it being 50 degrees out Wiped down with damp micro cloth Then used dry micro cloth All came out fine BUT i will bet anything that this product will not last even 6 -12 mths I know they say that there product is different but listen if it is truly 9h ceramic then alls we are doing is wiping off most of the product with a damp cloth,, no way sorry No other 9h product out there tells you to wipe it off with a damp cloth Also , i even let it sit for like 15 min on purpose at the bottom plastic guard of my back fender and it still did not even haze a bit I even put 2 coats on Looks good right now after a week but I bet there will be alot of refund claims on this one including me if this does not last even 6 mths which i dought it will, time will tell,,, but the first time this does not bead up after washing it ill be back I read the reviews and is to why i tried it out but after actually using it, like i said you are literally wiping it away and taking most of it off with a damp cloth and this stuff will not haze up at all even after 15 min sitting there There is my 2 cents

Alright so let's start out by saying this. I first washed the car, then compounded, and polished the whole vehicle by machine. After that, car was looked over to make sure all surfaces were perfect, and then wiped down twice with an alcohol water mixture 75/25. All glass, plastic and paint was covered with 2 coats (have one coat left to apply from first purchase, I bought 2 because I wanted to do 4-8 coats). 2 coats sat and cured for 48 hours. I went out to the car noticed a small place on passenger door which I'm guessing didn't 100% get applied properly(seemed alittle rough, possibly high spots, looked fine when I left the car but when returning it was there), so took some alcohol n water mixture 75/25, and used some elbow grease to get it leveled out, then reapplied two coats. So +1 for it being easy but also hard to remove at the same time. After allowing that to sit 30 hours or so, I took the car out. Hydrophobic. Abilities are alittle disappointing. Yes the water beads up, and rolls off, but not as great as others where you have been able to see in ads where it really does just roll completely off the car. I will update this as I'm going to apply 4 more coats here in the next few days... maybe the coating isn't thick enough after two coats? I do still have about a 1/3 of the bottle left after 2 full coats so I should be able to apply 3 per bottle. I should also note this is being applied on a 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid. Basically a coupe. The car also seemed to get dirty from the salt on the road which I'm not counting off on that because what car doesn't get dirty from salt on the road lol. I did have a rock hit my windshield today on the interstate going about 75mph. I think it may have barely damaged the coating in the slightest amount, but did no damage the windshield... and it was a pretty big rock, I saw it coming from the driver side and it hit the passenger side. I also applied this to the front of my phone and back... dropped it, not one scuff scratch or Nick, so I think this is great for a screen protector and to protect the phone in general from minor drops n keys n such. I have not washed the car (will do that in 2 to 3 days before applying other coats) I felt most coatings ask u to wait a week before washing with soap, so I can't add to how easy it is to clean yet. Again 3 stars is due to the initial impressions... I will say it did add a little bit deeper gloss and shine to the car, 80% due to compounding and polishing the car and correcting the paint, other 20% added from the coating. Again we're talking about a $60 coating, so I'm not expecting the most amazing effects, but $60 when it's on the middle of the market price, I do expect alittle better... I will update this review after more coats are applied, maybe it's just not on thick enough yet, but if 6 coats won't be enough then I think it's the product that has potentially failed in my eyes. Luckily this has a 5 year warranty, so if it last that long, then I will be impressed. Thanks and definitely stay tuned for the update because the stars could stay 3, or they could go up to 5! Depends how it acts after the 4 additional coats. Still I don't feel you should have to buy two packs to get the outstanding results so we will see!

Nice packaging and everything but the instructions and videos are totally wrong. In the video it looks like the guy is putting on the ceramic coating onto the bonnet that is still wet with the cleaner. You have to use the cleaner and then dry it all off before you wipe on the ceramic coating and buff the ceramic coating. The other myth seems to be that this is a super complex job to do and that you might get build up that leads to streaks. While that may be possible it is highly unlikely as the liquid is about the same viscosity as WD40. In other words you would have to be very careless to get it to build up and get uneven. After completion I was not all that impressed! Yes it has a good shine but it does not have a deep rich shine like Carnauba Wax and while it does last longer I really have serious serious doubts that it will last 5 years, I think a year is more likely, at best two. I guess my biggest disappointment is the lack of factual long term information on what to do when the stuff starts to wear out. Some companies offer rejuvenation spray and other people say you can just recoat it. Most of the detailers are saying that it needs to be professionally buffed off. I don't want to loose any of my clear coat during buffing so I am hesitant to recommend this product or any ceramic product to a friend. At the end of the day how hard is it to wax your car every 3-4 months versus doing this and jumping into the unknown.

I bought the coating set in October 2017. Initially it works very well, water slides off the paint and doesn't stick to the car. When the car is dirty, a simple rinse can clean the car very well. Update Feb 2018 The coating starts to wear off, and a rinse from garden host can't clean the car anymore. I need to wipe the dirt with a towel. Will be keep updating this product.

For all of the steps and time it takes to apply this product, I can still have the same out come with a clay bar and a good wax. This might be a good product for someone who doesn't wash or enjoy washing/cleaning on their car.

This is a very hard & expensive way to keep your car paint looking good. I just use the Klasse polymer clean & protect. My Duramax truck is 15 years old & looks like new. Just wash & apply . Klasse ALL-IN-ONE Polish 10 oz
